I address the leaders: “DON’T JUST SIT THERE WARMING YOUR SEATS; WORK TO BRING THIS CONFLICT TO AN END. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU ARE PLAYING WITH FIRE, IN EVERY SENSE! THIS CONFLICT COULD LEAD YOU INTO A SPIRAL OF TOTAL WAR IN EUROPE. ACT QUICKLY; COMMIT ALL YOUR STRENGTH TO STOPPING THIS CONFLICT. IT WILL REACH A POINT OF NO RETURN!”
I repeat: “ALL OF EUROPE WILL BE DRAWN INTO THIS! HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE FALLING EVERY DAY, HOW MUCH DESTRUCTION—MY MOTHER’S EYES CAN NO LONGER BEAR TO WATCH THIS MASSACRE!
